CodeIgniter is a powerful PHP open-source web framework with a very small footprint, built for developers who need a simple and elegant toolkit to create full-featured web applications with PHP and Laravel is a free, open-source PHP web framework, created by Taylor Otwell and intended for the development of web applications following the model–view–controller architectural pattern and based on Symfony.

As speaking of Laravel, I recently started using this framework and made some application and I noticed that it is not the framework that I need. Why use any templating engine in the framework when simple PHP syntax works fine. I mean just to start coding in this framework, now a person has to start with understanding some weirdest {{ variable }} syntax and its rules. Just think one person learned a PHP from any institute and when he/she goes in the industry to get hired, they first asked that “Do you know any framework?” or “Have you worked on any PHP framework?”  When he realizes that framework is necessary, he/she google for PHP framework and google show Laravel in the top. He/she clones and starts to study laravel. When he sees Handlebar in Blade template Engine, he/she will be demotivated and leave that and start to worry?

This incident is real and It’s my story. I faced this problem in my initial days. But I have a solution and I will guide you if you got in such problem.

Now let’s talk about CodeIgniter. It is fast, light and uses simple PHP syntax.
